The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library (B&ECPL) consists of a Downtown Central Library, 8 branches in the City of Buffalo and 22 contract member libraries which operate 28 facilities outside the City of Buffalo. The libraries serve as centers of information, education, culture and entertainment for the residents of Erie County.
Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries have more than 3.2 million materials - books, eBooks, DVDs, music & more. Free library cards (traditional and eLibrary) are available to Erie County, New York residents and to those who work and/or attend school in Erie County, NY.
BIFF screenings take place in the The Downtown Central Library's Mason O. Damon Auditorium in the lower level. The newly remodeled theater has a 301 person capacity.
